It actually has a dedicated DC jack on the left hand side and the included AC adapter uses it, so the PC is capable of taking power from either that or the USB-C port.

Considering that OnAir is also the internet supplier for EK, not to mention how typically slow EK internet is, I'd not be surprised if the QR and EK internet is the same thing with a different skin.
