Just flew the other day on the a380 business class. The social area on that is very noisy... and that’s at the very end of the cabin. Could only imagine what it would sound like without a partition.

The seat is awesome, although lowering the height of the walls I don’t believe is from customer feedback. The article goes onto say it reduces the weight of the suite by 22%...cost reduction feedback more like it!!

I agree!! somehow their "regional" route will fall into aussie cities...therefore we once again will be short handed with smaller and tighter business seating for the same price they charge with the 777 or a350

Nothing really revolutionary about this new seat at all. In fact by the figures they provide there are many other seats currently being used by other airlines with 1. more leg room 2. better recline 3. better use of a foot rest. Poor effort Qantas! Qantas a380 J product is just woeful. Don't know how they can justify charging almost double compared to Qatar.
