I believe that EK404 from DXB to MEL via SIN, and EK405 from MEL to DXB via SIN will be serviced by an A380 until 15 January, when they will both revert to a B777 service. So if you have booked before 15/1, you will be on the A380.

Michael Ikle I could not agree more. Qantas is a joke, supported by a band of frequent flyers who just don't know any better. They stick to Qantas obstinately, keeping their head in the sand and quietly cursing the Q's multiple shortcomings. You're right, a change is what they all need

Emirates already serves North Africa quite well. They are more reliable than RAM, and offer a one stop flight from Australia to Casablanca in better aircraft. Unless of course one world benefits are more important.

I frequently fly Emirates F, and only twice have I seen children in F. Last Maywas there a child in 3E (I was in 2A) from MEL to DXB. The poor kid cried on take off and landing as his ears obviously hurt. Other than that, he was perfectly behaved. I always have a pair of ear plugs in my cabin bag...

I travel to several countries on a regular basis, and collect substantial amounts of UGX, ETB, NGN, AED, OMR, EUR USD and GBP. Same as you, I keep the sorted noted in suitably sized ziplock bags, and take them with me when I'm on the road again. It's quite handy to have notes on hand in African...
