Qantas' first upgraded A380 begins flying next week

After some research, it seems VH-OQI is the first plane to be retrofitted considering it has been in Abu Dhabi since the 9th of September. I wouldn't be surprised if they repainted it in the meantime as well.

Neither compare to Qatar Airways. Etihad seats are not well padded, and they are on a downhill slope from the cost-cutting, but then again SQ seats are rock hard and there are no amenity kits. Lose lose both situations. All better than BA though.

Would have to disagree with Etihad Business as their cost cutting has really taken a toll. The hard product is still good, however found the seat to be a little firm (even after adjusting the firmness) and lack of kneeroom was prevalent. I would argue that VA is quite good because of their hard a...
