I agree with your suggestion for the HSBC card at $199 pa. and 60k sign-on points is good value. And I'm thinking that card paired with a $0 pa. Amex Discovery card is good "value" where I can get 1pt:$1 on Amex and same on HSBC unto $2500 per month

Good point smoothsilver. By co-incidence I cancelled our NAB Platinum cards (Visa and Amex) today as I'm using ANZ FF Black even though all my other banking is with NAB. Just have to decide in 6mths whether to go back to NAB for bonus offers or stick with ANZ FF Black
