Mar 29, 2019, 09:05 PMI had this whisky before it was famous in about 2013, it cost $130 per bottle back then. Make no mistake, it was good.Is it worth $550 per bottle now that it has won awards? Not so sure. Doesn't that budget bring you in to the 25 year old range?

Review: Vietnam Airlines Boeing 787 premium economy (Ho Chi Minh-Sydney)
Oct 31, 2018, 04:02 PMI flew this from Sydney to Hanoi and would fly it again. Seat very comfortable.I would also consider flying PE SYD-LHR over economy on Singapore airlines, bet the price differential wouldn't be too much.

Making a better case for flying on a 20 hour non-stop flight
Oct 22, 2018, 02:44 PMI'm assuming he means he'd rather a one-stop that non-stop in economy. Reader review: Vietnam Airlines A350 premium economy, Melbourne-HCMC
Mar 14, 2019, 07:41 PMI flew PE on the 787 and highly recommend it for the price.Am flying VN to London later in April in PE, fare paid was AUD 1300, and have submitted an optiontown bid to upgrade to business on the longer Hanoi-London leg, cost USD 500.As far as I was concerned on the 787, wide armchair style seats,...

Phuket or Bali for a holiday with a 1 year old?
Jan 11, 2019, 11:46 AMWe just took our 1 year old to Khao Lak, North of Phuket. However she got sick, likely due to the water or food standards. We had to get some over the counter antibiotics. In retrospect, for a one year old, I would keep it as Westernised as possible, maybe Fiji is better for food/water safety, unsu...
