I had this whisky before it was famous in about 2013, it cost $130 per bottle back then. Make no mistake, it was good.Is it worth $550 per bottle now that it has won awards? Not so sure. Doesn't that budget bring you in to the 25 year old range?

I flew this from Sydney to Hanoi and would fly it again. Seat very comfortable.I would also consider flying PE SYD-LHR over economy on Singapore airlines, bet the price differential wouldn't be too much.

We just took our 1 year old to Khao Lak, North of Phuket. However she got sick, likely due to the water or food standards. We had to get some over the counter antibiotics. In retrospect, for a one year old, I would keep it as Westernised as possible, maybe Fiji is better for food/water safety, unsu...

The new Emporium Hotel in Southbank is great, excellent views of the city and kangaroo point from the terrace bar on the top floor.
