  • BA will need to adopt, as a minimum of 1-2-1 in their new business class seat. Personally, I am not really expecting anything radical, like Qsuite or Singapore. Will be interesting to see if BA B777-9 will get a suite (like Singapore Air) as part of BA new First product.

  • Travelwell, I agree that BA are no SQ. However, there's no reason why it couldn't work. Especially when BA, VS, AF, and LH all launching new J and F.Also, I think VS have lost direction if they stay a 3 class Airline. I always fly ANZ for LHR - LAX, but will need to look at Business to keep B777 ...

  • So initial 4 A350 for BA will top out at J. The rest is to replace near end life 744 with super J.LHR - LAX has 4 slots. 2 by 789 & 2 by A380, plus 2 AA. BA flights are always 90% full. Does anyone think that BA could do a SQ on this route, with W, J & F???

    Yes. AMEX Travel are excellent. AMEX USA certainly have specially negotiated fares for whole of 2019, with Airlines like Singapore for Cardholders. Usually 2 for 1 in J, pay W get J.
