I still prefer the former way where you or I or any QFF member, could just walk into a restaurant with the Qantas Frequent Flyer tag/label on the door post glass.Easy.Then the system was changed where a booking was needed, pain in the ar** in my case, as I don't normally plan, I just walk into an...

So sad, to hear the news on this.Loved the LATAM service on the 787 flights Au - NZ.Pity its to happen that no longer will I be able to use the service to get Qpoints and QF SC.(Air)NZ only has a sometimes 787 SYD - AKL, sometimes 777 service a lot of the time.

Well and good to have new hotels, but pity few of them seem to want to have double glazing on their windows.Stayed at a newer hotel a few weeks back, thought the Ibis Central would have at the least double glazing, but no.Nice place, modern, both these yes, but still can hear doof doof from somew...

Would be great if hotels like this were double glazed but 99% of hotels around Aust and the world seem not to be, and thus are very noisy.

Yes, and the airlines are smart enough to make the cheapest connection city fares with the shortest connection times.1hr15mins to transit from a QF flight to an AirNZ flight in MEL, this really puts me at a disadvantage from ADL, if I want to fly J and see what the AirNZ MEL J int lounge is like,...

Because the other choice is Jetstar NZ, which I don't think that VA has ever linked to.Other than (Air)NZ, who else then can carry VA pax?In the past, both VA and (Air)NZ have been partners, though they no longer have a linked FF program, I guess their booking system are still synced, or as calle...

That VA chartered bus from SYD T2 to SYD T1 now goes the internal road, ie, the same one that QF uses, so it does not go onto the main road.Have used it several times, since the internal road started being used, ADL - SYD - NZ when there was still the tie in between VA and (Air)NZ.Now, coming bac...

Personally, if work pays or I have to fly for work, I would stick with one program all the way, personally, possibly solely VFF (linked to DL), and SQ, if I were in your position, work wise. But in my current position, I have my paws in both the Aust dom FF programs, plus SQ KF from flying NZ sinc...

If someone is departing on QF10 to Melbourne (international flight, domestic leg) would QF Gold flying economy be able to get into the international lounge in T4 as it's an international flight?T4 is purely dom, no int lounge there, T3 is the int lounge/terminal.QF have kept T4 as it was in the p...

Trouble is that Japan is still a cash based economy for a lot of the places to eat, (ie non big western style eateries).A relative went a few months ago, and took major amounts of cash with him for spending.Read up on TripAdvisor and the other forms too.If it were other countries in Asia, ie, Sin...
