The second delivery group were always promoted as direct 747 replacements. So I’m sure the next one to go will be SCL.

We do a number of A380 charters for large groups each year. As there is no spare capacity in the fleet to enable a charter of an entire aircraft a scheduled service must be cancelled or converted to a charter.

Morning arrivals into Australia/USA are preferred for the reason of maximising connecting traffic. Morning arrivals allow the maximum opportunity for connecting flights to other cites or regional destinations. The same goes for evening departure from London and Los Angeles.
