Now you can fly Qantas' Boeing 787 on domestic routes
May 25, 2021, 03:08 PMQF has 3 undelivered 787 in desert storage. They’ve negotiated with Boeing that they won’t take delivery till operationally required. Probably from Oct. They’re currently training many ex 747 pilots to fly the 787.

Jan 05, 2021, 02:56 PMThe remaining 3 were NOT cancelled. QF negotiated with Boeing not to take delivery until the A/C were required. As the article says they were flown straight into storage.

QF9 cancelled for 22/11/2016
Jul 14, 2016, 11:12 AMWe do a number of A380 charters for large groups each year. As there is no spare capacity in the fleet to enable a charter of an entire aircraft a scheduled service must be cancelled or converted to a charter.

Mar 24, 2014, 03:49 PMMorning arrivals into Australia/USA are preferred for the reason of maximising connecting traffic. Morning arrivals allow the maximum opportunity for connecting flights to other cites or regional destinations. The same goes for evening departure from London and Los Angeles.
