• Air NZ is finally upgrading their 777 seats - great!.But I can't help but feel like NZ has completely lost their mojo. They used to be so cutting-edge, edgy and cool. But the new 787 and 777 products are just - BLAH!.Installing a seat that is already 7 years old with BA... I mean, come on!!!

  • I thought Emirates were already at their frequency limit? If so, there isn't much they can do to respond other than to upgauge 777 flights to A380.  Another alternative would be for Qantas to operate some Australian flight frequencies to Dubai with their own metal again.

  • Doesn't this also mean that Virgin Atlantic has to be dropped as a partner as their services are to and from Europe? As a European-based airline they would now be excluded from points accrual?

  • I do wonder if airlines introducing seats with extended privacy wings have actually done product testing on anyover over 6ft tall.  I am worried that the fixed hard wing would be crushing into my shoulder the whole time

  • A damages amount of $13k is hardly going to be any sort of deterant for this clear breach of law.In this regard, i'd say despite 'losing' the case, it's actually a win for EK
