Both airlines should be subject to the same restrictions on foreign ownership. Period. Forget about which airline you prefer. Both should be allowed to compete on a level playing field. As for Qantas 'putting a nail in Ansett's coffin', I think you will find that was Air NZ.

Can you not fly with QF in this class? It's not just the seat, but the whole PE experience on QF is so much better with regards to entertainment, service, food, amenities. Or Cathay?
