• I've flown on the Qantas A380 in First and Business at least 12 times in the last 18 months and only once had they bothered to stock the lounge bar with anything at all, and it was just water and a few soft drinks. They've refreshed it into a nicer looking space, but it is still totally dead...

  • Hopefully it actually materialises unlike the Perth flight pre-take off drink which is a bottle of water about 50% of the time and the pre-lunch/dinner drink which materialises about 20% of the time.

  • The breakfast situation is an absolute unmitigated zoo and the place is just overflowing with kids. Nicely appointed but totally chaotic from tip to tail.

  • 5 out of the last 6 times I've flown the Qantas A380, they haven't bothered to stock the lounge bar at all with anything (not even water).

  • Have Qantas had anything to say about what's happening with some of the other previously pre-COVID announced lounge upgrades such as Hobart and Auckland?

Completely agree. The food quality was absolutely terrible flying F from MEL-AUH-LHR in July 2017. I'm not exactly a big fan of VA J domestic catering but it was not even up to that standard.
