I have a credit for flight cancelled to South Africa due to covid.
Qantas send me a email re flights to South Africa - going over Melb/Syd/Jnb looked okay but the returns offered - Jnb/Syd/Bris/Melb, Jnb/Syd/Hob/Melb and Jnb/ Syd/Mildura/Melb - and the price of the fare is now 75% higher!

The whole travel credit thing is rubbish. You have entered into a contract with an airline to transport you from A to B for a particular price. That the "price" is now 75% higher shouldn't be your problem. They just made a huge noise about all the profits they're making but they're taking the customer for a ride, just not the type of ride the customer expects.
