Does anyone understand why Qantas (recent scheduling) have dropped the Melbourne departure for flights leaving on QF9 from July and August ‘24…seems as though the flight now departs from Perth as QF9 and Melbourne passengers are to depart with a local connection (Domestic) from Melbourne to Perth to join QF9…returns are the same…QF10 at the time stops in Perth and then needing to transfer to Melbourne with a local connection

It was the same this year, the domestic leg only operates on the weekends.
Might have to do with freeing up an aircraft to operate the Rome and Paris flights
