Any suggestions for a large family suitcase. Regular (solo) business traveller with carry-on only for international travel, but need something to take 4 of us overseas for 10 days. we travel light, and would like to do it in one case if possible. Any suggestions/experience?
Is there any particular reason why you only want to take one bag? My advice would generally be to take two smaller cases rather than one monster one. Smaller bags are easier to manage, and you have some security against all your stuff being delayed for a few days.
Agree with am (that two is better than one), plus I found that it does not worth to spend an arm and a leg on brand one – all made in China and you can pick one from places like reject shop 2-3 times cheaper and “proper” one will not be 2-3 times stronger. Unfortunately we live in disposable world.
Thanks am - I hadn't thought of the issue of only taking one case and it getting lost - great food for thought. The reason for only taking one is that i'll have a toddler + infant, so if I take one large one, I still have one hand free to help with the kids if needed. With two - I'd be carrying those. Also thought of taking suitcase + existing Blackwolf backpack which would do the job - still on the hunt for preferred suitcase if any suggestions.
