It looks like an interesting alternative to Uber Black, with the ability to prebook instead of rely on availability.

Hi Peter, Yes, I have used Blacklane in Paris about 8 months ago, they are all good. We used them from Charles De Gaulle Airport to Paris. Car was a new Mercedes and driver was professional and polite. The cost was 62 euros.

HI Peter - yes I used them in Singapore earlier this year.  Great car for 7 of us from the airport to hotel - it even had wifi!

Thanks to you both.

Their facebook page has some "colourful reviews" (not that I'm suggesting that's a reliable source), so I'm glad to hear that you had positive experiences!

This thread is a bit old now but I thought I would add my words of warning just incase anyone is asking about limo hire ... avoid Blacklane.  They double debited my credit card in Hong Kong, and now will not answer my email requests for a refund.  I have waited patiently but they obviously either do not care or are completely dishonest ... so avoid!!

Don't forget that you can contact your credit card company and ask them to do a 'chargeback'.

Oh really?  I didn't know that ... thank you, I will investigate.  I thought that if the company had made the debit, then they were the ones who had to reverse it.  Who pays for the "chargeback"?

Booked a ride with Blacklane for 2pm on Sunday 17th January 2016.

The car then turned up at the wrong time at 6am (!) and I was then billed for this, even though the Blacklane system had screwed up my booking.  I then had to find alternative transport for my 2pm ride.

Have written to Blacklane about this case but received no response.

Not a reliable service.

Hi Geyien, suggest contacting your bank and requesting a 'chargeback' if you paid by credit card as you'd have paid for a service that wasn't provided.
