QF - status credits on Classic Award flights. It seems to me that Qantas decided to issue status credits on Classic Award flight or I missing something?
I also have received status credit on a clasic award booking. The award flight was booked 4/12/2013 and the crediting of the Status Credit has the descripition of 'QANTAS CLASSIC AWARD STATUS CREDITS PROMOTION 18APR14" with 18/4/14 being the date of the flight.
I agree with Peter's comment of 'Usually not unless they're running a promotion.'

Usually not unless they're running a promotion.
There are some lesser known caveats though. Did you book the award with Qantas?

Generally not the case.
Last promotion was late last year -
