When will Virgin Australia have its full fleet of about 80 737-800s?

I heard that Virgin Australia ordered 50 B738s early last year, all coming with the new BSI. Does anyone have any idea when they will all arrive and what route Virgin is targeting?

You can check month by month aircraft orders on the Boeing website, looks like they've only got 1 to be delivered this month. http://active.boeing.com/commercial/orders/index.cfm

The B738's with the BSI are arriving thick and fast - there are 3 in July 2012 and a further 2 in August. That said the fleet growth is to some extent offset by the number of lease returns which has spiked this year however most of these are -700s which means that -800s will predominate throughout the fleet. At last count there are c.16 -800s in the fleet with BSI and that number is swelling all the time, it will be 19 by the end of the current month. Regards

According to this source http://news.theage.com.au/breaking-news-business/virgin-blue-confirms-boeing-737-order-20100401-rg6i.html , virgin will take delivery of these aircraft from June 2011 onwards to 2017.

Will they actually end up with a fleet of 80 though? They like to maintain a younger fleet, so chances are that a good number of the new deliveries will be replacing older aircraft, which will be retired... The article AnsettAustralia linked to does say that a lot of these planes will replace older ones.
