Hi I was wondering if there was a way to see if a flight is normally full or not? so I would know what my chances would be of getting on? Thanks

Many airlines will have seat maps on their website, and its will check if the flight is full or not, but don't rely on that because not everyone check in online or whatever

Subscribe to Expertflyer and monitor the availability of inventory. Seat maps are only a proxy and is not the best way to assess the loads on a flight.
Thanks alot .
No worries darren. Expertflyer allows you a free trial before purchasing. Play around with it and see how you like it. It is worth every cent as far as I'm concerned. There are other free options out there but Expertflyer is the least fiddly of the lot.

You can always check wih your travel agent who has access to this information. Not perfect, but it does work!

Do people still use a travel agent?
I use Expertflyer to keep travel agents honest ;)
It always helps to corroborate!
Russell - judging from where we live, quite a few people do, especially if it involves bundling holidays. I have on many occasions used an agent to check flight availability and indeed the airline itself (who normally seem happy to give out this info), though to be fair, usually book on-line.
