Best J product in Europe?

Hi all,

I have a trip to Frankfurt in September and am interested in cheating on OW and looking to try the best J product Europe has to offer? I don't mind having to connect to other places since I enjoy flying and not short on time, so which European carrier will you recommend for my first leg back to Oz?

I'd say Swiss or Turkish if you are feeling adventurous. Both have excellent J offerings.

It would depend where you're flying to on the way back to Australia. If you want to go Star Alliance all the way but not SQ, which has a fantastic business class, then for a European business class I would suggest Swiss A340 Zurich-Singapore and then SQ SIN-MEL. The newer Swiss B777 is ZUR-HKG but then  after cheating on Oneworld you have to jump back into bed with QF or CX to fly HKG-MEL.

Also consider any of the Middle Eastern carriers who have very good Australia - Europe links

I love Finnair (it is OW), but to be considered “the best” you have to score new layout – old one is cr@p. If flying Finnair make layover in Helsinki about 4 hr to be able to go to sauna – absolutely priceless.

If I would you and like Star alliance, then I will look no future then Lufthansa. Or Swiss Air.
