$550 RRP from Sony but discounts abound. There's a very good website for finding the lowest priced tech, which is https://www.staticice.com.au/,it covers a lot of the small to medium-sized retailers including online-only stories, also super handy for 'price matching' at larger retailers too!

Not sure what has SQ and New York got to do with this, but while we're on that subject, I find the best way to go to NY is with Cathay Pacific. Happy to avoid LAX, don't have to collect and recheck my bags, great lounges at HKG and great business class all the way through. I tried the SQ flight b...

Aren't they both about as painful? At least with a Qantas transfer in Sydney you can do it from T3, you don't have to leave the terminal to catch the bus.

If you compare US and AU pricing for Apple Music it's USD$10 vs AUD$12, so if the same applies for News+ then this will be pretty appealing.

I think showers are very unrealistic here. The only aircraft which have showers are the A380s of Emirates and Etihad. Space will be at a premium on these singe-deck aircraft and every bit of weight carried will add up, and water weighs a lot. Much better for Qantas to offer access to an arrivals ...

I think Qantas should consider Seattle as a destination in its own right but not as a tag flight, and I don't know that AA would have much to do with a Seattle route as it's an end-point flight and not somewhere you make a connection from, and if you did connect it'd probably be with Alaska to fl...

How pressed for time are you, how highly do you rate trying a different airline to Qantas, and does a stopover have any appeal for you?London to Singapore on the Qantas A380 is obviously the fastest way to go. It doesn't have the best business class seat but it's good enough, and how many more ho...

I don't really think it's a must-have, especially not for London and New York. The main reasons you'd want a VPN would bea) privacy, andb) access to geoblocked contentI don't have the big privacy concerns that some people do, especially the 'techies'. I find a VPN is better for overcoming content...

My order of preference would be A350, B787, then toss a coin between the A330 and B777, at that stage it more comes down to the actual business class seat as well as where you are sitting in the cabin, eg away from galleys and lavs.I avoid overnights from SIN because it's so hard to get anything ...
