Yes. Everytime you move up a tier for the first time they send bags tags as part of the welcome pack.

Should be seamless. When I first became a Gold member they came with the card. Now upon renewal years it is just the card in a envelope :)

I dropped from Platinum to Gold 2 months ago and didnt get new tags, just told to continue the platinum tags. But I do remember getting tags everytime I move up a level.
Thanks all, i got an email saying a Gold card was on its way but it didnt mention the bag tags, thats why I asked.

Does Qantas replace platinum bag tags which are falling apart - just kidding, I'm sure I can buy a couple ( or recycle my gold ones ) !!
