Does anyone have any experience with Krisflyer waitlist?

I am on waitlist with Krisflyer to Hong Kong on 24th June and wondered if anyone had any knowledge or experience with how long it takes for SIA to confirm waitlist tickets?

I'd have a plan B if I were you.  Last time I waitlisted using Krisflyer miles the confirmation came through the day prior to travel and I had already made other plans by then.  It may not even come through confirmed at all and depends on the loads on the particular flight.  I'd look at availablity the day before and after and try to book something confirmed if I were you.

It is unpredictable in my experience. It may come through at any time or it may not come through at all. As suggested, have a backup plan if you really need to travel.

I am flying SIN-MEL this Saturday night in J on points and received a confirmation around 1.5 weeks ahead of time having asked over the phone while making another booking. However I agree with other comments that it depends entirely on loads and sometimes you won't know until very close to the date. My experience is that it is best to check in regularly by phone and in this regard being PPS or KFG may (or may not) help. I will usually have decided on a date by which if I can't confirmation I'll cancel and  implement plan B.
