Qantas begins Boeing 787 flights to Hong Kong
Jul 24, 2018, 11:16 PMI take CX in PE between Australia and Asia roughly every 2-3 weeks. Loads are generally very strong. IMO if the product is good then it is worth paying for on a 7-9 hour sector..

Qantas boosts flights to Christchurch, Singapore, Manila
Jul 29, 2016, 05:18 PMI think both PAL and QF have struggled to make BNE-MNL work with any decent frequency, at least with a widebody. PAL is likely to move to BNE-MNL direct (and possibly increase MEL-MNL frequencies) once it takes delivery of its first A321neos next year. The question for QF is whether it is g...

May 19, 2016, 09:50 PMI am flying SIN-MEL this Saturday night in J on points and received a confirmation around 1.5 weeks ahead of time having asked over the phone while making another booking. However I agree with other comments that it depends entirely on loads and sometimes you won't know until very close to the da...

Singapore Airlines - how bad is the reconfigured 777-300?
Apr 25, 2016, 08:08 PMI fly both types to and from Melbourne regularly (at least once a month) in J and Y. Yes its true that the new ER cabins are much nicer but even the older 300s are not a disaster when compared with many other airlines. The remaining 300s range in age from around ~9-14 years (again not ancie...
