Airport at KLIA

HI there - I need to overnight at KL Airport.  Between arriving at 8pm and departing the next moring at 8am.  Is the Sama Sama the best/closest?

Sama is closest, but equally taking the KLIA Ekspres will have you at Sentral in 30min where you have the Hilton, LeMeridien, Aloft in close vicinity

Agreed - you have access to better hotels in the CBD, but note you wouldn't be able to check in until like 10pm and you'd be out the door at like 6am, so it'd be a pretty rushed stay.

The Sama Sama that used to be the Pan Pacific was pretty good when I stayed there a few years ago.

I did this by staying at ALoft. Nice enough; great rooftop bar and easy to find. 

Thanks for the replies everyone.  IMO an 8am departing flight is too early to warrant the trip in to town.  I will go with the Sama Sama.  I will be passing back through KL 3 days later and have extra time so will certainly be heading to one of moa999's recommendations.  

Sama Sama seems quite expensive at RM609 or so for 8 hrs.
