Hi Folks

For once I'm looking forward to pleasure and not business. So hoping the AusBT community may help on this one.

I'm keen to take the bride to Europe in August 2017 for a couple of weeks and am looking for companion fares (if they exist) in Business or First.

Not too fussed who we fly with...within reason, (no I can't get on a North American airline by choice). Happy to have a stop over and would prefer to fly into Frankfurt(FRA) / Amsterdam(AMS) and out of London (LHR). Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. I am QFF P1 (soon to go) and EK Gold & EY Gold. This said One World, Star Alliance, Sky Team. Sincere Thanks (in advance). B McBevan

Qatar and Etihad have one once every few months. I think the next one might be 3 months away or less.

JAL have companion fares on sale now.  Finnair have similar prices, QF to Singapore then Finnair A350 to Helsinki and on to London.

Just looked at JAL companion, you have an overnight layover in Tokyo, which was fine for us on holiday, but not so good was the MEL SYD first leg (which required a QF400 = 6.00am start)
It is a day flight from Sydney then another day (chasing the sun) from Tokyo (NRT), seems the only destination ports are FRA,HEL,CDG, LHR, It was $5350 basically Easter school hols to Anzac day
JAL seats look good

Ended up doing a CX + LX combination because it went all the way to Madrid and no Sydney transfer
It will be interesting to compare the LX seats with QF as they are both Thompsons
