Would definitely be nice although they could work on improving their platinum benefits first. I'ts a bit late now for me because I got sick of VA Plat being basically gold and switched back to flying Qantas.

About 2yrs too late. Certainly too late for me - switched back to QF when I realised that any SC earned over the 800SC required to requalify were essentially wasted.

There is already great value to be had in above-800 SC activity in terms of gifting Gold or Platinum to a partner as well as pooling extra SCs to family members. My wife scored an EY upgrade Business>First on an Award ticket based on her gifted Platinum status. Wow! There's a way to build loyalty. Good on you VA.
