Hi all,

I've contributed to the recent thread on Virgin's lounge access shambles at LAX, but I've had another question come up.

I will be back in LA in May, flying VA. As a VA platinum member I have access to the Etihad lounge and can bring a guest. I'll have a staff member with me who is flying Air NZ. Can I bring him into the Etihad lounge as a guest? It would have been fine in the past going into the *A lounge, but now I'm not so sure? Has anyone had experience with this?

Another joy of Virgin's bolt-on approach to alliances I guess!

I am also VA platinum and am flying to LA in October.  How did you find the Etihad lounge?

As in, what did I think of it? A big step down from *A lounge in LAX. Food selection very poor (I now go and buy dinner downstairs), not enough seats and only 1 shower that leaks out onto the floor.

To FIND it - it's just down from the *A lounge. But I'm being a smart** with that answer:)
