I would also add that the food offering is pretty uninspiring.

Frankly, if you have access through Priority Pas or another lounge access scheme, I would recommend going to the Plaza Premium lounge instead.

Although I am a long-term Cathay loyalist (although my loyalty is dissipating rapidly, but that's another story) I have to say it is probably the most pathetic arrivals lounge I have ever encountered.

Don't believe there are any other Lounges or Priority Pass on Arrivals in HKG

I have a 14 hour stopover in HK, would like to know if you can leave carry on bags at arrival lounge or somewhere else. I would prefer not to drag them around for the day in town.

Yes, you can leave your luggage at the arrival lounge. Just need to be back before they close.

Yes, as Kentown has noted, I was right (I will refrain from pointing out who was wrong) and there is a Plaza Premium arrival lounge :-)

It should be said that neither lounge is well signposted and they are a bit of a pain to find if you don't know the way. To get there, head towards the Airport Express (train). Instead of going up to the platform, head down as if you are going to Terminal 2, heading to the right rather than the left. You will end up in a tunnel going under the train tracks towards Terminal 2, and that is where the lounges are located.
