Any word on when the two remaining Qantas international A330-200's will be reconfigured with the new business and economy cabins? Qantas has recently announced that these two aircraft will be upgraded, but I haven't read if there was a set date when this should be done by.
I believe SYD-PEK is used as the -300 series struggle with this distance without a payload reduction. The galley set-up for VH-EBG and VH-EBL is also more optimal for a longer flight with two meal services.

There are two jets still yet to be refurbished (VH-EBG and VH-EBL).
Only ONE of them is scheduled to be overhauled during a fleet reconfig program that runs between May and December this year.
The other one will undergo refurbishment in 2019.

Is there a way of finding out which routes VH-EBG and VH-EBL service? I believe one is SYD-BKK or is it more random than that?

Mainly SYD-PEK but they bob up on others at random; generally the shorter international flights (BKK, CGK, SIN) and the PER transcons.
