The limitations on the status credit benifits is an own goal! How ridiculous.

I like the Qantas lounge but you have to get there early. Once the Qantas Lounge gets too busy I head to BA. That also gets busy as time goes on and at that point I move down to the Emirates Lounge for the peace and quiet you mentioned and for a glass of Moët :) Great review as always and exactly...

Who remembers pentium 90 notebooks back in the day that were $9,000 each?? These prices are in the ballpark of Dell XPS machines. So not that outrageous.

I think mviy hit the nail on the head! Linking benefits to status tier in a fluid way is something only Qantas could do. They could target each tier with meaningful perks. There is not many perks they can offer WP that we don’t already have but a big one would be the ability to earn 50% mo...

If it's just a short visit the Qantas Lounge is fine. The most disappointing element is that it has no view and in fact no windows at all.

While it is true that the T&C’s of the Double Status Credits promotion say that the bonus SC’s don’t count towards earning the Loyalty Bonus, in practice they do. The only thing that has not been counting towards a Loyal//ty Bonus is previous Loyalty Bonuses.
