Hi, I am travelling from ADL-MEL on VA domestic then onto HND via SIN on SIA. My question is will the bags go all the way to HND or do i pick them up in MEL. The VA flight is on a separate ticket. TIA
You might be lucky if they were all on the same ticket, but separate tickets means you'll need to collect in MEL, walk the couple of hundred metres, and check in for SQ.
I have had success by asking SQ to link the bookings, so that they can be checked through. it may be a status/class thing as it does seem to be discretionary and I have only got it PPS connect. Cant hurt to call though.
