Just wondering long has it been taking United to send out the updated cards after confirming the completion of the status match.

I am a UA mileage plus member and from my last conversation with their customer service team they don't send out physical cards anymore. You download it to your phone. This might be something you can check with them.
Ah ok the confirmation email says "Your membership materials will be arriving in 4 to 6 weeks", but does not specifically mention the card.
Typically this will include a letter and what your benefits are together with baggage tags. I don't fly UA anymore but have a lifetime with them and this is what usually comes every year. This year there was no card so I rang them and was told it is now a digital card.

mine took 6 months
Sounds like typical United service :p
Just got home and found the welcome pack had arrived. It was about 6 weeks after completing the final flight for the status challenge and within a few weeks of having premier platinum status confirmed. Still received the physical MilagePlus card along with the baggage tags plus 5 drink vouchers for use on board. Cheers!
