Hi. I've been lucky enough to score an upgrade to business on Sunday's QF9 Mel to Perth only, which departs just after 5pm. I thought I might try out the Emirates lounge as I've not been in there. In checking the emirates website it says the lounge is open 24hrs a day, which I highly doubt. However EK405 departs at 7pm. Does anyone know what time the lounge would be open for this flight?
It is usually 2 hours before the flight so you may just miss it but go and see. It may be 3 hours in which case you will have a few minutes before boarding
Whilst it claims to be 24 hours, I think it would be fully open from around 4am in the morning to 10pm at night.
The period between 4-6 and 7-10 would probably be the busiest and when they put out the full spread of food, etc. However, I assume the lounge operates 24 hours at other times with limited staff, food and drinks and services. You might get a worse than normal experience or you will be pleasantly surprised.

Opening hours are three hours prior to every Emirates flight (Dubai and Singapore). Flight schedules can be found on Google.
