Time for Hilton status to appear

I can receive Hilton Gold Status courtesy of my Velocity Gold status. Just wondering your experience with how long it takes from applying to finally showing up in your hilton account?

No idea but the perks are great! Diamond even better with Macquarie.

When I jumped to platinum I applied for the diamond status. Around 3 weeks later I emailed VA to push. I think it turned up after 5 weeks in total.

You will have to push VA to get it sorted. I think they say wait 20 business days but once that time has lapsed chase them up. Normally at that point it appears pretty quickly.

Yes you'll have to call them to get it to happen faster. I applied in mid-late July and I only got approved mid October. But I didn't call them to ask them to hurry it up.

Yup, same experience. Takes ages, but once that 20 day period is over, call them and it happens relatively quickly.

I did mine recently. Took about four weeks, then was wrong, and VA had to fix it, which took another two.
