I hold Velocity silver and know you can request an upgrade to Comfort plus at check in.
In people's experience, does this normally clear without issue, provided they have the seats?
I requested an upgrade last year flying LAX-SFO and received one to Comfort Plus without issue. Like any upgrade, they will base it on Frequent Flyer Status. If you have the Delta app, I think you can request to be out on the upgrade list there too.

The app lists 65 for upgrade to comfort plus, so I assume that's the waitlist.
Flying Delta from JFK-ICN-DPS. I entered my Velocity Gold number , and my ticket says Sky Priority but also says “Not Complimentary Upgrade ELigible.” Did any of you have this on the ticket and still managed to get a complimentary upgrade on the day?
