I would imagine that if interstate travel required pcr, then the pathology labs will setup similar facilities at domestic terminal. This is a massive money spinner so who wouldn't want to reap this gold mine,!
Might consider that as an option for domestic flights from SYD

I’m sure the testing people will set up outside the domestic terminal if the demand is there. I expect suburban pathology labs will be offering same day services though.
