Aquascutum has launched its first inflight amenity kit, joining the growing list of other luxe brands jostling for the attention of first and business class travellers.
The UK-based retailer is partnering with Aeromexico to supply business class toiletry bags and skincare items from mid-2015.
The collaboration involves two uniquely-designed bags – one for inbound flights, the other for outbound flights – featuring Aquascutum’s iconic checkered pattern.
Other recent inflight bundles with a designer touch include Qatar's new Armani kits...
... Cathay Pacific's first class Aesop amenity kit...
... ANA's cute little and oh-so-collectible Samsonite cases...
... the limited-edition Oroton 'Business Sleep Collection' from Qantas...
... as well as Qantas' Kate Spade and Jack Spade business class kits....
... and the Mandarina Duck bags and Ren skincare for Virgin Australia's international Boeing 777 flights.

Indeed. I thought I'd read "Aquascrotum", but upon a second glance realised it was just "Aquascum"...

Aquascutum is a lovely brand. Why does QF have to go with something modern all the time - classic is QF's pitch against VA. Why couldn't it go for a classic brand for its kits? Just sayin'.
