Hong Kong Airport to get IMAX theatre (no, we're not kidding!)

IN BRIEF | The battle for world's best or at least blinged-out airport has gone up a notch, with Hong Kong to get the world's first IMAX theatre in an airport.

Due to open by mid-year, the theatre will seat 358 travellers who've got a few hours to spare between flights for a fix of the latest 3D and conventional 2D movies.

And with a screen almost 14 metres high and 22.5 metres wide it'll be the biggest of the city's three IMAX theatres.
