How Kris+ turns dining out in Sydney and Melbourne into flights

KrisFlyer members in Sydney and Melbourne can now earn their way to Singapore without a credit card sign-up bonus or a complicated points structure. They just need to eat out.

Kris+, Singapore Airlines’ lifestyle rewards app, lets members earn and spend KrisFlyer miles at more than 300 partners across dining, retail, wellness and more in both cities.

New users who download the app for Android and Apple and sign up using the KPET10 promo code receive a $10 reward (awarded as 1,000 KrisPay miles) , no minimum spend required.

And right now, from 1 May – 30 June, the Kris+ Feast to Fly campaign is boosting dining earn rate to 12 miles per dollar across all Kris+ dining partners.

That’s four to six times what most premium credit cards offer on dining.

At the current boosted rate, spending $2,450 at Kris+ dining partners earns 29,400 KrisFlyer miles – enough for a one-way economy saver award to Singapore on Singapore Airlines.*

For added flexibility, you can also redeem a one-way economy saver on Scoot at 12,500 miles, with approximately $1,100 in dining spend.^

For anyone who eats out regularly in Sydney or Melbourne, this is spend that’s already happening. Kris+ just attaches a 12-miles-per-dollar earn rate to all dining partners.

How it works

Download Kris+ by Singapore Airlines from the App Store or Google Play and sign in with your KrisFlyer number.

Link to Apple Pay or Google Pay in the app, then scan the in-store QR code at participating partners and pay via Kris+ to earn miles.

KrisPay miles can be transferred to KrisFlyer miles at a 1:1 rate, making it an easy way to top up your KrisFlyer balance from everyday spend.

The dining partner network across both cities is solid.

In Sydney: NEL Restaurant, SkyFeast at Sydney Tower, Omakase @ Prefecture 48, Ichi-ban Boshi, Garaku @ Prefecture 48 and Hondae Pocha.

In Melbourne: Hopper Joint, Tori’s, ARU, Amatrice Rooftop, San Telmo, ST. Ali, Mukka St Kilda and Al Dente Enoteca. The full directory is searchable within the app by category and location.

Every dinner out is quietly stacking miles toward your next flight or upgrade. That’s the whole idea.
