How it works
Qantas Business Rewards makes travel more rewarding by letting your business earn Qantas Points on every eligible flight from the first flight taken.
As a Qantas Business Rewards member, your business earns points for flights on top of Qantas Points and Status Credits earned as an individual. This means that you can essentially ‘double-dip’ on points earned for flights, since you can transfer Qantas Points earned for the business into any Qantas Frequent Flyer account.
The points can then be redeemed for upgrades, flights, or over 7,000 items from the online Qantas Store, so that you can reward yourself or your team.
With no minimum spend on flights, your business can start earning Qantas Points right away. Unlike other programs, Qantas Business Rewards is designed to reward your business whether you’re a small operator or a growing enterprise. You’ll instantly have access to a 5% discount on the base fare of selected flights, and the more you spend and fly, the more you’ll be able to save, with discounts rising to 8%1.
Eligible Qantas flights include flights operated by codeshare partners Emirates and American Airlines with a QF flight number.
Case Study: dusk Australia
With 92 stores across Australia and close to 1,000 employees, dusk Australia takes advantage of Qantas Business Rewards to save 8% on the base fare of selected flights when making bookings.
Peter King, dusk Australia CEO, says that not only does the company “save money using the program”, but that they also integrate Qantas Business Rewards into their annual planning and travel budgets.
By booking flights, hotels, and car hire through a points earning credit card like the American Express Qantas Business Rewards card, the business earns even more points to generate more savings and rewards.
How much could you save?
You can use the points calculator to see how you could maximise your potential points earnings through the Qantas Business Rewards program.
For example, a business spending $20,000 a month on Qantas Points earning credit card, with a domestic flight every month or two and a couple of international trips to Asia would be able to earn close to 180,000 points2 in addition to what they would earn from the flights alone – enough for a return trip from Sydney to New York and Sydney to Hong Kong (plus taxes, fees and carrier charges)3.
Additionally, the instant flight savings help offset the cost of the joining fee, making it a simple decision for most business owners. Even if your business doesn’t do a lot of flying, the Qantas Business Rewards program is still a great way to earn Qantas Points and reward yourself and your team members – you can join Qantas Business Rewards here.
