Jan 02, 2018, 09:20 AMFinished up in 16K on a recent flight from Singapore. I disagree with others about this being a good seat (amongst the generally poor layout of BA). This Seat is just way too close to the toilets. I'd rather have a window seat anywhere else other than row 16.

SYD - LAX First or Business?
Jun 14, 2017, 03:51 PMI f you had enough QF points I'd fly out of HK or NRT via Cathy or Jal. Both better 1st Class options in my opinion. Both fly direct to New York. Lot easier to find award availability & taxes will be a lot less than flying with QF.

First Class - LHR to SYD - BA or Qantas.
Jul 05, 2015, 11:55 AMAnother alternative is to try Etihad SYD-AUH-LHR. Search using the Etihad website, then book with AA. I've travelled both in FF and I think that Etihas First is simply a notch above QF, esp when you can have a shower on the way!
