Qantas launches Classic Plus Flight Rewards; bookings now open

Interested to hear if anyone (in particular Perth based folk) have chucked in Qantas Frequent Flyer and headed down the Velocity path (and used SQ/QR etc for Intl trips) and 'not looked back'? Is there much difference in reward seat availability on the other side of the fence?

Nice but not “huge”.Is it just me or is there a massive disconnect on what is available on the calendar view and then the day by day ‘tab View’Even what displays on an alternative tab sometimes doesn’t show when you click on the tab

Removal of petty fees sounds good, example - if you are going to keep the rewards booking, then change fee from “per person” to “per booking”.Hopefully investment in a better functioning website/app so more changes can be made online negating the need to engage with call c...

Thanks for the GMT heads up, was able to snag them at bang on 8am Perth time. Was able to get Perth to Melb seats (was fearing I’d only be offered via ADL) and was able to grab the connection thru to Tas as well all in one hit.

I’m on a QF classic reward ticket next Tues arvo from Launceston through to Perth. Arrive 2:50pm and have 4 hr wait in MEL then I’m on a 6.55pm flight to Perth. What do you think my chances are of getting a free change onto domestic seat on QF9 at 5:05pm so I can get back to Perth ear...

Question for those in the know...I’m flying Perth - Melbourne in business class and then onto Devonport so obviously economy as only option. Can I access Melb Business Lounge or will I be rejected as transferring to Economy?
