I think they will target significant changes on platinum members and make it harder to reach. It is so easy to reach platinum during the DSC period.

Seriously, who wants to go to CX Melbourne lounge. It's crap and SQ lounge isn't that good either. The best is still EX, EY and QF. Those CX and SQ desperately needed a major uplift to be on the game!

This is a tragic for Qantas. SQ did that last year with the announcement of charging passengers with seat selection, etc. Within 24 hours, the announcement was corrected by SQ PR and such move was no longer valid. This is a sad case for any premium airlines to adopt a budget airline model. Em...

They just offered one in October this year, hence I don't think they will offer another one in Jan or Feb 2019 too close. Brace yourself for one maybe in May 2019 in which they offered once few years back (in MAY) with one on offered in November the year before the MAY offer!
