Japan is testing the world's fastest bullet train – the 400km/h Alfa-X
May 11, 2019, 05:40 AMI don’t think I read the news that said that travel between Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane was going to stop within the next 10-20 years. In fact the reality that travel between the population centres will continue to grow is an argument FOR and not against the construction of a large scal...

Review:
Dec 10, 2018, 07:38 PMI have said it before and I will continue saying it. I will not step on board any of EK’s desperation reeking cabins with their faux wood and bling overload. I’ve paid more to fly other carries as a result and I have accepted less convenient itineraries as a result but I can’...

Dec 07, 2018, 07:55 PMOld style but oh so civilised and one would wish to find more of those in lounges. What’s not to like compared to having to listen to all those strangers phone calls

Review:
Nov 20, 2018, 07:14 PMThe whole cabin and lounge look dreadful in terms of style. Aircraft swap and downgrade ADL-PER
Jul 02, 2018, 05:54 PMMy ADL-PER flight in August has just been changed from a 737 to an economy only 717. The J class booking was made using BA miles. Is this a broader shift away to Qantaslink flights from ADL? What compensation should I expect from Qantas and/or BA? Anybody got experience from similar cases?

Luggage - Hard vs Soft Case
May 21, 2018, 07:19 AMI swear by the Rimowa Salsa Air. It doesn’t get much publicity because Rimowa wants to sell more of their more expensive aluminium suitcases. I have cabin luggage and larger suitcases from the range and they have been on 40+ long haul trips. The plastic shell scratches but it doesn’t ...
