I am hoping to book some Emirates reward tickets later this month. The article says that the service will stop from 1 March. Does anyone know what happens to tickets booked before then?

My only criticism is that you can’t add a pre-existing medical condition, even if you are prepared to pay extra. This has meant that I’ve had to pay for a policy for my son.

Yes, I’ve done it a couple of times. Once, they matched quickly and easily. The other time I had to insist in a series of email. I’ve always booked through Hikton and then dine the match.
