Absolutely... a no brainer on the East Coast. East-West is (sadly) a different story, but not many of us have been able to fly those routes since March 2020!

As someone who temporarily switched to QF out of concern for the future of VA during the pandemic, I can say with certainty that the legrest/recline has never been a major concern of mine. I can't recall one instance of being pleased that I had a legrest on a QF flight, but I can recall a persist...

Do you reckon Platinums would be turned away from the pop up Lounge if they chose to check it out, just for a bit of a change? Eligibility criteria says it’s limited to Velocity Gold and Lounge members.

Does anyone know whether members who attain Gold through the Status Fast Track are being sent membership kits (physical Frequent Flyer card, Q Bag Tags, etc)? Or will we be relying on a digital card for the first year?

Yep - scanning your Business boarding pass will get you into the Lounge on arrival, regardless of status.
