• I would NOT take this as a guarantee but I feel you may be safe - judging by this page you just have to register in the period (you can even keep swapping your choice before the 27 Feb) It does not explicitly say you MUST register before booking within the allowable booking period. You can read h...

  • It is a 'barely-relevant bit player' when I can fly to London from Melbourne using options of QR 2 times a day, EK about 3 a day, SQ about 5 a day not to mention all the other players leaving MEL to their hubs. And yet QF directs me to go via SYD to QF1 usually as their first and 'cheapest' solut...

  • I fly business class because they never question you or challenge you (in my many experiences) on carry on bags which I only do in order to travel light and fast for short overseas trips. If other airlines I use are going to start weighing and limiting this, I'll be changing loyalties fast... Lik...

  • Spot on! I've been saying for years that anyone who believes melb will really get sunrise direct flights once they start, is deluded! They'll all start from Syd via Sydtas. The 69 comments in this thread is testimony to the idiocy of the airline treating melburnians with contempt.

  • Would you fly on a Comac C919?

    Jan 25, 2024, 12:44 PM

Would refuse on principle of where it's made. Although note it would not be a plane without mostly western parts. It's going to be used as a geopolitical tool to advance CCP interests. Likewise would not buy a Chinese vehicle. Have flown on 737 max in USA and have no issues doing so again.
