Works perfectly fine on Virgin Australia and never had a single issue. Etihad is actually pretty good for boarding priorities ex AU and in AUH. My partner flew BNE SYD DOH ZRH with Qatar Airways. First segment was with Virgin - he was checked in all the way through Zurich as well as his bags.They just reprinted the boarding passes at the gate at Sydney.
