    My understanding is that as you booked via Virgin, you need to discuss with Virgin. Etihad has nothing to do with it unless you were booked on their ticket stock (607) on an EY flight number.

    My partner flew BNE SYD DOH ZRH with Qatar Airways. First segment was with Virgin - he was checked in all the way through Zurich as well as his bags.They just reprinted the boarding passes at the gate at Sydney.
