I would be curious to know whether enforcing priority boarding actually speeds up the boarding process - the highly regimented US system seems to take forever...

I heard that it was due to maintenance reasons (hence the only temporary suspension).

J-sh largely agree with the sentiment, although JAL's 787's do have PE in their new configurations.

I know that they don't fly into Brisbane, but you can book an intinerary flying between Brisbane and Munich via Perth and Doha.Hopefully it isn't a similar agreement like the one with MH, although given the tie up between EK and QF, who knows what the agreement will look like.
